our TEAM
Armando Chacon
Partner. He was research director at the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness, focusing in human capital and public policy. Previously he worked at KPMG in Washington DC. and the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture and Economy in Mexico. He holds a BA from ITAM and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Pablo Peña
Partner. He is an Assistant Instructional Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. He was chief economist at Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission. Previously, he worked on antitrust conflicts at a Chicago-based consulting firm, and at Mexico’s Ministry of Finance on tax policy, insurance, pensions, and development banking. He holds a BA from ITAM and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago.
